Help with Scan. Splt. Pay.
Scan. Splt. Pay. is how you order and pay from your own phone at the table. There is nothing to install and no account to create — you open it, and it already knows which table you are sitting at.
You can use it to:
- see everything that has been ordered at your table, as it happens;
- add more to the order yourself, if the restaurant allows it;
- split the bill with the people you are with, however you like;
- tip and pay, and leave whenever you are ready.
The app lives at SPLT.ca.

Help on every screen
Every screen in Scan. Splt. Pay. has a Help link at the top. It opens the part of this guide that explains the screen you are on — how to enter your order code, what the sections of your order mean, how to split — in a new tab, so whatever you were doing, including a payment, is still there when you switch back.
A note on privacy
You are never asked to create an account. When you split a bill you are asked for a first name, so the people at your table can tell the shares apart on screen. That is the only thing the app requires. It also offers to tell the kitchen about an allergy: that is up to you, and what you enter goes on the order so the kitchen and your server can see it.
