Your visits

Have you ever tried to remember what you ate at a restaurant four months ago? With Scan. Splt. Pay. you can save your restaurant visits. Each one keeps where and when you went, what your table ordered, what you paid and what you tipped. You can look them up again later, on any phone.

Saving your visits is up to you. You can always order and pay without it.

Save your visits​

At the bottom of your order, the Save your visits card says See your past visits and what you tipped, on any phone. Tap Save.

  1. Enter your Mobile number. Only Canada and US numbers work for now.
  2. Add your Name if you like. It is optional. It is used to greet you, and to fill in your name when you split a bill.
  3. Read the short summary and the Terms of the guest account. A box lets you get offers from SSP and participating restaurants. It stays unticked unless you tick it, and you can save your visits without it.
  4. Tap Text me a code, enter the 6-digit code you receive, and tap Confirm.

You see Saved: This visit is in your history. Next time, we'll recognize you on this phone. The visit you are on is saved too, with what you already paid on it.

Saving your visits creates your free SSP Passport. It keeps your visits with you at every restaurant that uses SSP.

Welcome back​

The next time you order at an SSP restaurant on the same phone, the top of your order says Welcome back, with your name if you gave one, and how many previous visits you have, for example Welcome back, Alex · 3 previous visits. Tap the number of visits to see them.

Ordering and paying work exactly as before. Your visit is saved as you go.

See your past visits​

Once you have saved your visits, the bottom of your order shows Your visits in place of Save your visits. Tap it.

Your visits lists your visits at every SSP restaurant, newest first. Each one shows:

  • the restaurant, the date and the city;
  • You paid and the amount, and your Tip;
  • No payment through SSP if you paid in cash or someone else paid;
  • Booked when the visit came from a reservation.

Tap Show more visits to go further back.

Tap a visit to see:

  • Your payment: what you paid, your tip and how many payments you made. What you paid does not include the tip, and any refund is taken off.
  • The table's order: Everything the table ordered, including what others ordered. The dishes ordered most come first. This is where you find what you had.
  • Table total, before tips.

Tap Back to the order to return to your order.

On another phone​

Your visits are kept with your mobile number, not your phone. On a new phone, tap Save on the Save your visits card and confirm the same number with a code. Your visits are all there.

If Your visits says Sign in again, your guest account is no longer signed in on this phone. Tap Sign in and confirm your number.

Your information​

  • Your mobile number is used to confirm it's you, with a code by text message. You get offers only if you ticked the box.
  • The summary on the sign-up screen and the Terms of the guest account say what is kept and who can see it.
  • To delete your guest account and your saved visits, write to support@ssppos.com.

If something goes wrong​

  • We can't text that number yet. Canada and US only for now.
  • That code isn't right. Try again. Check the code in your text messages.
  • That code has expired. Send a new one. Tap Send a new code.
  • Too many attempts. Try again later.
  • Guest accounts aren't available at this restaurant. You can still order and pay as usual.
  • No visits yet. Only visits you make after saving your visits show up.
