Manager Management

Manage team members, assign roles, and control access permissions across your restaurant locations.

Quick Access

Find Manager Management under the Team section in your restaurant's sidebar navigation.

Overview

SSP Manager's team management system helps you:

  • Control access by assigning specific roles to team members
  • Invite new users to join your restaurant team
  • Manage permissions through predefined and custom roles
  • Track team members across different locations and responsibilities

Accessing Manager Management

Navigation Prerequisite

You must first navigate to a specific restaurant location to access Manager Management. If you signed up as a single restaurant, you'll land directly at your location. For restaurant groups/chains, select your location from the Group/Chain Dashboard first.

Navigation Path: [Your Location] → Team

Step-by-Step Access

  1. Navigate to your restaurant location
  2. In the sidebar, click Team
  3. The user management interface displays with current team members and their roles

Available System Roles

SSP Manager includes five predefined roles, each with specific permissions and access levels:

Managing Team Members

Viewing Current Team

The team management page displays all current users in a table format with:

  • User names and contact information
  • Assigned roles displayed as colored badges
  • Status indicators for active/inactive users

Inviting New Team Members

  1. Click Invite Team Member
  2. Complete the invitation form with:
    • User's email address
    • Selected role assignment
    • Any location-specific permissions
  3. Send the invitation

Custom Role Management

Beyond the five system roles, you can create organization-specific roles:

  1. Click Manage Custom Roles
  2. Define custom permissions and access levels
  3. Assign custom roles to team members as needed

Role Assignment

Team members can have multiple roles assigned, displayed as individual badges in the user table. Role assignments determine:

  • Which areas of SSP Manager users can access
  • What actions they can perform
  • Which locations they can manage (for multi-location organizations)

Troubleshooting

Can't see expected team members: Verify you're viewing the correct location if managing multiple restaurants.

Role assignments not updating: Check that you have appropriate permissions to modify user roles.

Invitation emails not received: Confirm email addresses are correct and check spam/junk folders.
